Steven Lord is a rock n’ roll troubadour who was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. As a child , Steven immersed himself in the outlaw sounds of Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash,  and it was these records that helped him to realize his dream of being a professional musician. In his early 20’s, Steven set out on the open road, touring relentlessly with acts such as Kingsley Flood, Bodega Girls, and These Wild Plains, performing at festivals like SXSW, StageCoach and Boston Calling. While serving as a multi-instrumentalist and band member in these groups, Steven was given the opportunity to collaborate on music-based campaigns with companies such as Converse, Svedka Vodka, and Wrangler Jeans. In was in these collaborations, that Steven began to hone his talent on scoring original music for television commercials and high profile advertisements on his own. While commuting between Boston and New York, in-between and even during tours, Steven’s original songs and scores were placed in ads from Dunkin’ Donuts, Kraft Cheese, and Panera Bread as well as TV spots on CW’s Supernatural and Showtime’s The L Word. Stevens’s professional and creative work continues to earn him many accolades, including multiple Boston Music Awards and nominations. It is Steven’s strong work ethic, his ability to read and understand a client’s needs and expectations, combined with his creative drive that continue to strengthen his relationships with a multitude of agencies and brands on an international level.

Now with the completion of his own home studio, Steve looks forward to a future of creating musical content that will find a happy home and inspire both consumers and the represented brands.
